Marie Eveline's homestead was surround by beautiful Weeping Willow Trees full of birds in the spring which she looked so forward to. This bird is a replica of the one that Marie Eveline drew and hooked on many of her rugs.
 
Hooked slowly, loop by loop, this piece invites patience and attention. As the colours take shape beneath your hands, the pattern reveals itself naturally, like the first signs of spring after a long winter. It is a celebration of life, crafted with care and intention.
